7 Mile Beach – Negril
The world-famous 7 Mile Beach is located off Norman Manley Boulevard in Negril. This seven-mile stretch of unadulterated white sand beach with clear turquoise waters extends into Bloody Bay. It’s ideal for sunbathing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and many other fun water sports. Boston Bay Beach – Portland
Boston Bay Beach is located in the Eastern end of the island in the parish of Portland. This amazing white sand beach with crystal clear waters is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. A stone throw away from the popular Boston Jerk Centre, makes it a perfect spot to just chill and relax on the beach. It’s also one of the few beaches in Jamaica where you can surf! Can’t surf? Want to learn? Then you’re in luck as they also offer surfing lessons. You can also enjoy other water activities such as windsurfing and snorkeling.
Doctor’s Cave Beach – Montego Bay
Doctor’s Cave Beach or Doctor’s Cave Bathing Club, is located in the middle of the Montego “Hip Strip”, Gloucester Avenue. The beach was named after a doctor who owned the property in the 1800s and it was only accessible via a cave (which was destroyed by a hurricane in the 1930s). White sand, clear blue waters, and water trampolines on-site help make Doctor’s Cave, Montego Bay’s number 1 beach. The beach also boasts a stunning and thriving reef that’s perfect for snorkelers.
Frenchman’s Cove – Portland
This postcard-perfect beach is located in Port Antonio, Portland. Frenchman’s Cove offers the unique combination of a lazy river and beach in one. This stunning beach was captured in the movie “Knight and Day” starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. A swing, a cold refreshing dip in the river or sunbathing on the golden sands of the beach with a bar and grill a stone’s throw away, helps Frenchman’s Cove to be one of the must see stops in Jamaica.
Winnifred Beach – Portland
Winnifred Beach is another gem in the parish of Portland. This community-run free beach is just what the doctor ordered. As with most Jamaican beaches, Winnifred boasts crystal clear blue waters with golden sand. As mentioned, entry is free but visitors are asked to make a donation towards the beach’s upkeep. The beach is also lined with shops selling local cuisine as well as various craft items.
James Bond Beach – St. Mary
James Bond Beach, named after the famous British spy created by writer Ian Flemming while living in Jamaica. Located in Oracabessa, St. Mary this spectacular beach offers white sands and aqua marine waters. The beach was also featured in the James Bond movie; Dr. No.
Bull’s Bay Beach – Hanover
Approximately 3 miles outside the town of Lucea in Hanover, lies a beautiful public beach called Bull’s Bay Beach. This partly secluded beach is perfect for swimming and relaxation for the whole family. This scenic beach also offers some of the clearest waters in Jamaica.
Ocho Rios Bay Beach – Ocho Rios
Ocho Rios Bay Beach also called “Turtle Beach” is the largest public beach in Ocho Rios. This white sandy beach is within close proximity to the Ocho Rios Cruise Ship Pier; in fact, you will have a direct line of sight with the cruise ships once they dock. The crystal clear shallow waters make it a perfect venue if you’re travelling with children.

Lime Cay – Kingston
Lime Cay is the largest cay off the coast of Port Royal, in Kingston, Jamaica. The Cay is only accessible by boat and is the most beautiful beach in Kingston. We recommend going mid week for the strong likelihood of having the beach all to yourself. Also be sure to bring your lunch and refreshments as there are no facilities on the island.
