It started as a simple idea. One thought, written down in 2008:
What if there was a place that took Jamaica — all of it — and showed it to the world?
Not the resort version. Not the postcard. The real thing.
The food that doesn’t have a menu. The parishes people drive through without stopping. The proverbs, the folklore, the yard conversations, the music that came from a small island and changed the world. Every nook and cranny that makes you stop and say — wow.
That idea became Showcase Jamaica.
It has taken different forms over the years. But the vision never changed — to tell the stories of Jamaica that deserve to be told. From the well-known to the hidden. From yaad to abroad. From history to right now.
